Demand analysis
Define the force, velocity, stability, tissue-loading and positional demands that are most relevant to your discipline and current training phase.
Private 1:1 S&C · Canterbury, Kent
A private, sport-specific strength and conditioning session built around the physical qualities, technical demands and training context that matter to your performance.
Why strength
Strength and conditioning is most effective when it targets a defined performance requirement. Depending on the athlete, that may involve maximal-force capacity, rate of force development, neuromuscular coordination, movement economy, tissue tolerance or the ability to maintain force production under fatigue.
Exercise selection is therefore governed by sport demand, training age, competition phase and the interaction with endurance load. The objective is not gym performance for its own sake, but a precisely dosed stimulus that supports performance while controlling avoidable fatigue and interference.
The session
A precise five-stage structure keeps every exercise connected to a reason.
Define the force, velocity, stability, tissue-loading and positional demands that are most relevant to your discipline and current training phase.
Evaluate training history, movement competency, force-expression qualities and current tolerance to resistance training.
Identify the smallest number of physical qualities and exercise patterns capable of producing meaningful transfer without compromising key sport training.
Refine technique, intent, range, tempo and external load in real time so each repetition produces the intended neuromuscular stimulus.
Position strength work within the wider microcycle, with clear progression, fatigue-management and transfer criteria.
What’s included
The session is deliberately private so technique, loading and decision-making can be refined without distraction.
Practical details
Venue details and any preparation requirements are confirmed when the session is booked.
Available as a standalone session. Further sessions are recommended only where they support a clear progression.
